If you're reading this blog, congratulation! You must be my first blog reader. Yayyyyy! Happy to have you here. I am trying hard not to waste of your precious time, even only a few minutes. But if you enjoy it, please let me know.
I live in New Westminster, Canada right now. I recently moved here with my hubby and dog from china. It is a huge decision for us and meanwhile, it is not a easy one. I am originally from Sichuan, a small town called Zigong in Chinese geography but with 3 millions population. :) When I was 24 years old, I decided to give up a cozy life in my hometown and headed to shanghai where I believe I could make a success. Well, I don't think I am successful but I did enjoy my life in that metropolis.
It was not my first time to visit Canada, however, it could be very different if you plan to live in a long term. As I'm still in the process of getting a work visa here, all of sudden, I have tons of time by my own. When I lived in shanghai, I had full-time jobs which didn't allow me to have a hobby. I struggled to commute between home and work daily, there wasn't too much time for me to just sit down and think nothing. Now I'm in Canada, I would like to change my lifestyle from hectic to relax. However, I don't know where to start. I came across a yarn shop at river market and met my knitting teacher Susan. I decided to try knitting as it is something I learned at childhood but I haven't been done it for ages. And guess what, magic happened! I fell in love with knitting right away. I knew how to knit and purl before, my first knitting class I learned casting on and off. It was so useful and the next day, I made myself a hat with pom pom .There are lots of knitting YouTube videos resources online. As long as you know how to knit and purl, you have potential to be knitting master.
My knitting teacher was very impressive about my work. I told her I feel very calm and peaceful when I am knitting.it is really amazing as until today, I learned that knitting is thematic. The picture on the left was captured when I learned magic loop. It's super technical skill in knitting.
I want to share with you my knitting passion and in the meanwhile , I want to improve my English writing. I could speak better English but I know my English writing is rubbish. Let's make this article as the start, I will try best to keep on it.
